I’m running a little behind on post, because I got distracted with life. I know, you’re totally shocked.
Last weekend I got super fancy and made pavlova. It is really pretty simple and you can totally make it too!
Here is the recipe I used: https://youtu.be/FfyMBRDG4WE?si=JEmrCLajVBx4L3GT
You start by whipping up some eggs.

Then you add a bunch of sugar.

Did I mention how healthy this is? Think sugar, fluffy, drywall.
After you get all your ingredients together you spread it on some parchment paper and bake that sucker for about an hour.

After it’s done cooking you just turn off the over and leave it to dry out. The recipe calls for like 6 or 8 hours. I was impatient and went for 2.
When you’re finished you top that sucker with some whipped cream and fruit. I would go extra on the fruit. You really need the tartness to cut through all that sugar.

It is not a heavy dessert by any means which can cause an issue if you have no restraint. It does not keep for your regular 4 days like other desserts due to the texture, so finish it fast. That was not an issue in my household. Happy baking.
